In order to achieve successful New Product Introductions (NPI) quickly, it is very useful to have design teams “follow the sun”. For example, design team in India should continue the work from where it was left by USA / European design teams (when USA/Europe is sleeping!!) However, in order to achieve the real benefits of time difference, the integration between these teams must be as much seamless as possible.
