The client is a Multi-Discipline Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) company that specializes in providing comprehensive solutions to various industries, including chemical, petrochemical, refining, paper, power, industrial power/ cogeneration, gas and liquid transmission, manufacturing, and fabrication. The scope of this project was quite extensive, involving the design and detailing of over 30 new piping systems and the revamping of around 500 existing pipelines. These pipelines ran across 40 plus critical and non-critical equipment, which presented a significant challenge for the project team. To accomplish this, the team had to deploy software suites, including LFM, which deals with laser scanning of existing units and converts point data to 3D models. One of the most significant challenges facing the project team was the tight time frame of just three months given by the customer to complete the project. The client was highly impressed with the on time performance of the TAAL Tech team, noting that their ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure was one of the best they had ever seen.
